Elder William Brewster and his wife Mary had an unnamed child who was buried in Leyden on 20 Jun 1609.[1][2] There is no known factual record for the gender of this child all records state, "died in infancy."[3] They lived near the Stinksteeg at that time; the current name of that street is William Brewstersteeg in Leiden[4].
Hunt gives the following as a possible clue to her name as well as her mother's maiden name:
"As to the identity of the wife (or wives) of Elder WIlliam Brewster, proof has been wanting; if he had a daughter Elizabeth (perhaps the child buried in Leyden 20 Jun 1609), the will of Robert Hartley of Austerfield, dated 11 Apr 1606, leaving a small legacy to Elizabeth Brewster, may prove to be a clue to her mother's maiden name".[1]

Not only do I feel my submission for Hannah Brewster Thompson is suspicious, I feel it is wrong.....I can find no evidence that Hanna Brewster was ever married to John Thompson. The linage above Hanna Brewster is correct as well as the linage below John Thompson......but I can find no evidence at this point of a connection between the two.
If someone knows of a source to prove the connection, please let me know.
Thank you
