Biography

Richard was born about 1667. He is the son of William Britton and Maria Stillwell. On 14 Jul 1678, at the age of 11, Richard was baptized with his parents and six siblings at the Dutch Reform Church in Flatbush, New York although the family resided on Staten Island.

My brother left me information indicating that Richard married Ann Aft in 1691 over in Monmouth county, New Jersey. Since he didn't leave any source or citations, I think we should consider this information a rumor until documentation is found.
