Elizabeth Brockenbrough was the daughter of William Brockenbrough by his wife Mary Newman.[1]
She married first Thomas Dickenson who died in Richmond in 1714/15.
While Douglas Richardson does not list any husband other than Marmaduke Beckwith (below), an article in the Virginia Genealogist says that the widow of Thomas Dickenson (who died in Richmond VA in 1714/5) married Sir Marmaduke Beckwith.[2]
She married second after 1714/5, Marmaduke Beckwith, born in 1687, and they had four sons, Tarpley, Jonathan, Knt. [4th Baronet], Marmaduke, and probably Roger, and four daughters, Elizabeth, Margaret (wife of Joseph Morton), Mary (wife of Lawrence Butler) and Penelope, (wife of Alexander Walker).

The 2004 edition is available as Reference only at the main library in Portland. I will need to prepare a list to look up when I go there. At least I know it will be there, since it cannot be checked out.
I don't know. If it's correct that Mary Newman was 3rd generation, the line should be in Dorman's Adventurers, which is the source cited by Richardson. Haven't got access to it.
Added a source for the widow of Thomas Dickenson, married Marmaduke Beckwith. I was probably wrong in my previous post, that he was not married twice. Is it likely that the unknown widow was the same person as Elizabeth Brockenbaugh?
Richardson is famous for the thoroughness and accuracy of his research, and he lists only Marmaduke as a husband. The Magna Carta Project relies on his published works. We also welcome any new research (with sources) - as does Richardson. His volumes always include several pages of additions/deletions/corrections to the previous work. When we find a name on the Gateway Ancestors list (such as Elizabeth) who is not yet in WikiTree, we add the profile, in the hopes of a member who will connect them to descendants. Can you add any of Marmaduke's descendants?
Rumour has it that Marmaduke was her second husband, and she was previously married to the previous Clerk of the Peace of Richmond Co, name of Dickenson, who died around 1716.
