According to the Daughters of the American Revolution records, Samuel Henry was born circa 1725 and married a woman named Rachel, whose maiden name is not given. [1]
FamilySearch.org gives two potential Rachels as Samuel's wives:
About 1747, Samuel married Rachel Elizabeth Hickman, born circa 1730, in Hanover county, Virginia, a daughter of John Hickman, born 1699. Rachel, the mother of his children, died in October, 1801, in Washington county, Tennessee: [2]
About 1748, Samuel married Rachel Marie Broom, born circa 1730, in Hanover county, Virginia, a daughter of Thomas Broom, 1714-1796 and Grace Stackhouse (note this couple was married in Monmouth, New Jersey) : [3]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Rachel by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Rachel:
Broom-485 and UNKNOWN-34546 appear to represent the same person because: It is unknown what the maiden name of Rachel, who married Samuel Henry was. See notes in the profile, of Broom-485
UNKNOWN-34546 and Broom-485 are not ready to be merged because: From FamilySearch Profile page His familysearch profile page now has another wife and more kids. Some of the kids are duplicates to the children he already has listed with his 'first' wife, Rachel Marie (Broom) Henry. Dates are all conflicting too, so something is messed up. Maybe 2 Samuels are being mixed up together? This will require some more researching!
Rachel Elizabeth Hickman is listed as the wife of Samuel, as well as Rachel Broom. Both are given the same dates of birth and death. Ancestry.com indicates that Rachel Hickman died in Tennessee, in 1801, the same year as Rachel Broom, but that she was born in 1740 and married Major Hugh Henry 1756-1838: https://www.ancestry.com/genealogy/records/rachel-hickman-24-2498tps
Here is the Find A Grave of Major Hugh Henry: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/5255779/hugh-henry. He, apparently married two women named Mary. Not sure how much credibility to give to Find A Grave. In the meanwhile, I am going to propose a new merge of Rachel "Broom" with Rachel "Unknown," and list Broom as an additional last name for Rachel Unknown until marriage records can be found.
