Biography

Joseph Brown was born 5 February 1705 in Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts, a son of James Brown and Ruth Snow. [1] [2]

Joseph married Susanna Cole on February 20, 1735 in Eastham, Massachusetts.[3] They had five children:

  1. Jerusha Brown, 1738–1838
  2. Joseph Brown, 1745–1777
  3. Benjamin Brown, 1750–1796
  4. Simeon Brown, 1753–1821[4]
  5. Susanna Brown, 1756–[5]

Joseph died in 1777 in Gorham, Maine. [2]
