Biography
Henry Cass Brown, born 25 Mar 1837 in or near Zanesville, Ohio, was the third child of Susan (Munro; 1812-1867) & Amos Henry Brown (1805-abt.1880).
He married first, 20 Apr 1865 in Muskingum County, Ohio, Mary M. (Cox) [1]. One child proceeded from this marriage:
- Mary S. (Brown; 1867-); married Henry R. (Stranburg or Stanbery)
After the death of his first wife in 1868, Henry Cass Brown married second, 26 Oct 1883 in Manhattan, New York, Mary W. (Hodge) [2]. They had one child:
- Henry F. Brown (1884-); married Norma Eda Coover
Henry C. Brown died 25 Nov 1884 at Manhattan, New York [3]. His grave is in Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio, USA [4].
