Biography

Rebecca was born about 1760. She is the daughter of Jesse Brown and Hannah Gray.
Land Claim:
Petitioner: Rebeckah Brown Tompkins of Augusts, Wife of Isreal Tompkins. Daughter of Jesse Brown, a soldier in Major Joseph Corps of Royal Rangers and joined the Royal Standard previous to year 1782. Asks for 200 acres. No date but between 1788-1794, in Grenville County.[1]
