At 2, in 1848, she sailed, with her family, in the Philip Laing from Scotland to Port Chalmers, Dunedin, Otago;^{[3][citation needed]}

At 4, on the 25th of June, 1849, her brother Thomas was born, in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand.^[4]

At 7, on the 10th of January, 1853, her sister Mary was born, in Halfway Bush, Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand.^[5]

At 25, on the 7th of April, 1871, at Clairinch Farm, West Taieri, Otago, New Zealand, she married William Snow^[6][7]

At 26, on the 22nd of January, 1872, her daughter Margaret was born, in West Taieri, Otago, New Zealand.^[8]
