with a birth date of 1760 it must be confused with a daughter? I hope I did not add that but I've been known to make an error or two I will research

William seems to have picked up an extra wife named Susanna Woodson. Do you know which one is correct?

There is a note to do more research into these families - If Mary Bacon dies in 1700 and she was still married to William at her death then how could Susannah Woodson marry him in 1760. BUT since there isn't research on Mary Bacon we need to do the due diligence of figuring this all out. Since The Bacons were from New Kent County and St. Paters Parish, we might possibly find more information by looking in the Parish Registers. Mags

I have a story in my records some where that stated," William owed money and he up and left in the night" , leaving Mary Bacon and that he never divorced her but married Susannah Woodson. I have a small blerb from THE BUGGS OF BIG ALBAMARLE COUNTY. It was used for documentation for the DAR I will look at that for any answers'

Mary died in 1770 or so we think, apparently he just left Mary Bacon

Specifically on Susannah - thank you very much for my afternoon down this Rabbit hole! Lots of sources don't appear to be valid or current or even for Susannah? Notes inline on those. It appears she is maybe the daughter of William Woodson and Sarah Allen? More research needed for her for sure. LOTS of people on Ancestry have her with no sources. the Lineages listed with the DAR have both wives but I didn't purchase any to check the information on her.

More research needs to be done to figure this out and possibly create a new profile to recreate the one merged away for This guy. OY!

William Bugg is my patriot, but he is now in the correction file partly because of, I think the marriage/wife/wives situation

It bothers me that William was not mentioned in his father's Will

Bugg-157 and Bugg-39 appear to represent the same person because: This is a duplicate

Let's merge Thanks!
