Disambiguation: Dr. Peter Bulkeley, apothecary of Boston, (1643 - 1691), subject of this profile, is sometimes confused with his nephew Rev. Col. Peter Bulkeley (1641 - 1667), Judge, Representative and commander of militia, of Concord, Massachusetts.
Born at Concord, Massachusetts, 12 August 1643, son of Dr. Peter and Grace (Chetwood) Bulkeley. Died at Fairfield, Connecticut in 1691. Peter Bulkeley-73 (1643-1691) married Margaret Foxcroft 1672 in Fairfield, Fairfield, Connecticut.[1][2]
He was a physician and a member of the class of 1662 at Harvard College, although he did not receive a degree. The inventory of his estate included "'medicene simple & in Composition' valued at £25; and 'Books in
Inglish and Lattin.'"[2]
