Priscilla had a dtr named Nancy Burden. Nancy married James Smith and these are my great great great grandparents, In 1820, they were in Pendleton, SC and in 1830 in Greene, TN where my great great grandparents James Smith II and Lucinda Hipps were married. In 1840, they were in Harlan County, KY. I believe they died between 1850-1860 because in 1860, their kids were Grant County, IN. By 1870 they finally settled in Allegan County, MI, My dad was born in Grand Rapids, MI but after WWII moved to Los Angeles where I was born and raised. Debra Smith McIntosh, 2013.

Perlina Bear, dtr of James Bear and POLLY SMITH (dtr of Nancy) filled out an Eastern Cherokee Application and listed all 12 of the children of Nancy and James Smith.

Perlina Bear, their granddaughter filled out an Eastern Cherokee Application but was denied. These can be found at fold3.com.
