Violet passed away on the 12th May 1932 at Epworth Hospital, Erin Street, Richmond, Victoria at the age of 60. At the time of her death her residence was listed as 32 Fitzroy Place, Hobart. ^[2]

Her funeral took place on Monday 16th May 1932, moving from her residence, 32 Fitzroy Place at 3 p.m arriving at Cornelian Bay Cemetery at 3.30 o'clock. ^[3]
