Hannah (Unknown) Harlock was probably born close to 1700; Charles Edward Banks, in his "HIstory of Martha's Vineyard", reports that she was living, as the widow of Thomas Harlock (II), in 1748, so she evidently passed away after that date.
Research notes: Hannah has been tentatively identified as (possibly) Hannah Burgess, daughter of Thomas and Sarah Burgess of Yarmouth, b. 20 May 1701 (Yarmouth VR, NEHGS, [1]). If indeed Hannah Burgess is the Hannah who married Thomas Harlock (II) by 1719 -- the birth year of their first child -- further research is required to make this case. Another claim that this wife and mother was not only Hannah Burgess, but was widowed _before 1727_ and that she married, second, Richard Arey, Jr. -- her late husband's half-brother -- about that year, is doubtful, as Banks indicates that she had a daughter with Thomas (Mary (Harlock) Coffin) in 1727, and another daughter with him (Patience (Harlock) Norris) in about 1730; she is also reported (by Banks) to have been living, as Thomas's widow, in 1748.
