A settlement for the marriage Joan Burley and Sir Philip Chetwynd, Sheriff of Staffordshire, Governor of Bayonne, Lt. of Calais was made on 28 June 1442 at of West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England.^[2]

Joan Burley married Sir Thomas Littleton/Westcott, Lord Tixhall, Deputy Sheriff of Worcestershire, Justice of the Common Pleas, son of Thomas Wescote, Esq. and Elizabeth de Lyttleton, in August 1445; They had 3 sons (Sir William; Richard; & Thomas) & 2 daughters (Ellen & Alice).

Joan Burley died on 22 March 1505.^[3]
