Biography

James was a first cousin twice removed of Loretta Lynn and Crystal Gayle through the Butcher and Wells families.

He was a second cousin once removed of Maybelle Carter and a second cousin twice removed of Helen Carter, Anita Carter and June Carter Cash. He was also a second cousin three times removed of Carlene Carter, Rosey Nix Adams and John Carter Cash.

James was also a second great-grandnephew of Jenny Wiley.
