Biography

Chauncey was born on 6 Jun 1807 in Smithfield, Madison, New York. He was the son of Chauncey Butler and Diodemia (Bullen) Butler.

Chauncey married Lorinda Jeanette Cole (22) (born on October 29, 1807 in Exeter, NY; daughter of Abel Cole and Rebecca (Burnham) Cole) on July 25, 1830.[1] Their children were:

He died on 1 May 1875 in Hanover, Shelby, Indiana.
