Keziah Cain was born about 1826 in Tennessee. She was daughter of James Cain (1802-1893) and Elizabeth Hunter. Her parents were married in Claiborne county, Tennessee, possibly about 1822. James and Elizabeth had eleven children. The first seven were probably born in Claiborne county; William 1823, Brice 1825, Keziah 1826, Martha 1830, James 1833, John 1837 and Susan 1838. The last four children were born in Hancock county, Illinois; Daniel 1841, David 1842, Henry 1844 and Abraham 1847.
Keziah married Joab Green on 17 March 1840.
She died on 17 February 1908.[1]
