Frederick Joseph Calverley was born on about July 14, 1873, in Ontario, his father, Joseph Atkinson Caverley and his mother, Sarah Ann Clark. He married Una Christina Shepherd on January 11, 1905, in Manitoba. They had children during their marriage. He died in 1965 in Manitoba.
