Biography
Mary Calvert is not shown in any volume of Early Families of Southern Maryland by Elise Greenup Jourdan
There is no evidence that a Mary Calvert married a John Cissell and therefore these two profiles have been disconnected. We do know that John Cissell's wife was named Mary. Refer to Mary Unknown.
Research Notes
Popular genealogies without credible sourcing provide an array of contradictory facts:
A Find A Grave site, without further sourcing, [1] identifies a "Mary Calvert Cecil" who is born 1616 in England and dies in 1669 (aged 52–53) in Prince George's County, Maryland, USA. The 1616 is most likely the birth year of her supposed husband, as is the death year. The burial is stated to be a "Non-cemetery burial" which was standard at the time.
Another fact, without further sourcing, is that her death took place in 1668 in St. Mary's, Province of Maryland.
Yet another fact attributed to a Gedcom on Gedmatch [2] gives her birth as 2 July 1616 in Lurgan, Armagh, Ireland and her death as 1669 in St. Mary's, Maryland, USA.
The Gedcom match gives her spouse as William Henry Cecil

John Cissell's wife was named Mary according to his 1698 will, but there is no evidence that she was Mary Calvert (or that he had more than one wife). He made her executor so she was alive in 1698, but may have died shortly after he did, because it does not appear that she executed the will.
See the PDF of the Harry Wright Newman paper that I have uploaded in which Newman discards the idea that John's wife was Mary Calvert. This paper is further discussed at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Cissell_Resources.
