Biography
Francesco Paolo Cammarata, son of Bernardo Cammarata and Vincenza Ferraro, is born and baptized 22 April 1889 in Corleone. His godparents are Salvatore Cammarata and Giuseppa Perrino, a married couple.[1]
Francesco Paolo immigrates to New York at an unknown date. When he is 35 years old, he marries another Corleonese immigrant, Lucia di Frisco, on 22 June 1924 in Manhattan. His name is abbreviated to "Francesco P. Ca... Ta".[2] Based on this, his parents' names, and his age at marriage, I have positively identified the groom in this record as Francesco Paolo Cammarata.
