When Patrick JR Campbell was born in 1726 in Augusta, Virginia, his father, Patrick, was 30 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 26. He married Elizabeth James in 1751 in his hometown. They had 11 children in 25 years. He died on August 28, 1799, in Muhlenberg, Kentucky, at the age of 73.
