I have been interested in family history since my mother was sharing her family with me and a friend at church led a genealogy interest group. It became something I enjoyed working on with my mother. Since so much had been done on her side, I've worked more on my father's side of the tree. Since they have both now passed away, it helps me to feel close to them to learn more about family they knew or family who came before them.
I hope my two sons will eventually be interested in family history also!
