Biography

Pierre (Peter) Campbell was born in 1831 in St-Remi, Napierville, Quebec. . He was the son of Alexandre Campbell and Marie Surprenant.

He married Theotiste Vacher in St-Pierre, Kent, Ontario on 25 Sept 1855.

He passed away in 1910 in Flat Rock, Michigan.

Parish registry indicates Pierre was born on 29 Jun 1831 in St-Remi, Napierville, Québec. Baptized on 30 Jun 1831. Parish registry clearly indicates parents Alexandre Campbell and Marie Surprenant. I read somewhere that Peter always said he was older than he actually was. Actual date would be June 1831.

1880 census and 1894 census confirm his birth in 1831.
