Biography
Roswell was born in 1851 in Ohio to Silas Sprague Canfield and Matilda Adaline Allen Wetherell Canfield.[1] He married Ellen Mahoney on 11 Jan 1882 in Wood Co., Ohio.[2] They had a family.[3] He died in Stanislaus Co., California on 9 Mar 1940.[4]
