Benjamin Cannon was a staunch member and an Elder in the Presbyterian Church.[2]
He and his brother, Samuel, left North Carolina for East Tennessee following their mother's death. They settled in Bledsoe County sometime between 1810 and 1815.
In 1830 Benjamin Cannon was listed on the census in Bledsoe Co, TN.[4]
Death
He passed away in 1849 in Bledsoe County, Tennessee.
