There are two sons of James listed as William T Cannon. William Canon-93 lists James Cannon and Mary Powell as his parents, but below in his biography, it states his parents are James Cannon and Ann Black.

William Canon-93's wife Elizabeth Shull's profile shows two husbands: one William Finn Cannon and one William T Cannon. Using the link to FamilySearch has Elizabeth's last name as Shearer (Shull), and she is married to a William P Canon, who has no parents listed.

I've also seen William Cannon's wives listed as Mary Katherine Reid and Lucythia Myers.

I'm thoroughly confused.

He was also listed as William F Cannon. The f was for Finn really part of his surname. I am not sure but I think his initial was T
