Hi Steve, I just happened across this profile and your comment. I've added the source. Thanks.
EDIT - Remarks below have been taken into account.

"Philippe is a historical figure with at least 48 smart matches on heritage websites" cannot be considered a valid source.

Any sources for the Aylett nickname, and for the son named Aylett, who is attached to Philippe's wife (but not to him) ?

Here is his daughter Marguerite's profile.
EDIT - Mahaut has been reconnected to correct parents.

Mahaut should be removed as daughter - Philippe and Blanche had no daughter named Mahaut and her dates match Philippe's sister, Mahaut who married Otto of Burgondy.

D'Artois-29 and Capet-670 appear to represent the same person because: Same person, Capet is probably the preferred Last Name at Birth. However there is no record of Aylett or anything similar in his name, nor any reliable records for a son named John Aylett.

Philippe might be historical but he is not the father of John Aylett
