Thomas Carey was the second son of Robert Carey, 1st earl of Monmouth. He was baptised 16 September 1597 at Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland.[1] He married Margaret Smith and died 9 April 1634. probably at Parsons Green in Fulham. At the time of his death he was one of Charles I's grooms of the bedchamber.[2]
