Biography

Walter Emerson Carkhuff was born 24 April 1882 in Solomon, Dickinson County, Kansas. [1] He was the son of James Henry Carkhuff and Harriett Winslow Blair. [2] He married Minnie A. Markle 21 January 1921 in Riverside, Chaffee County, Colorado. [3] [4] [5] He passed away 16 March 1954 in Montrose, Montrose County, Colorado. He was interred in Cedar Cemetery, Montrose, Montrose County, Colorado. [1]
