Records handed down in my family supposedly from the Young family of Long Meadow, Hawkins County, Tennessee, have a marriage date of 8 October 1768 as the marriage date of Cornelius and Mary Cookson which would make her mother of all children. The Carmack record below has the year 1778. 7 May 2022 Sue Knifley
