John was born 1728. John Carpenter passed away in 1816.
IMPORTANT: This was NOT the John Carpenter of Stafford, Connecticut! This John Carpenter moved to Nine Partners, New York before ultimately moving to Milton, N.Y.
By 1779, he was a resident of the Saratoga District, in Albany County, New York.[1]
