Aquila Carr was the son of Thomas Carr and Elizabeth Price. No birth record for him has been found, but he was named in the will of his father along with his two sisters to share equally in his father's estate.[1]
According the The Passing Shadows of the Carr Clan, Aquila was complained of in the Gunpowder meeting for several months until, after months of complaints through the various meetings, was disowned for being involved in the slave market. It also indicates that in one of the tax records near his death, he was listed as a pauper.[2]
