Biography
Reverend Jacob Alexander Carter was born November 7, 1801, in Greene county, Tennessee, a son of Ezekiel Carter and Sarah Martha Stanley. [1]
On October 9, 1819, in Greene county, Jacob married Sarah "Sally" Edmond(s) [2] The United States Census of 1850, indicates that Sally was born in Virginia. [3]
Jacob died March 10, 1858, at the age of 56 years is McDonald County, Missouri and is buried in the Edmonds cemetery. [4]
