Anderson Carter married Mary Ann Brown, daughter of Peter and Margaret (Collette) Brown.
Peter Brown came to America with son John from Scotland during the American Revolution, moved to Washington County TN had a large family, both John and Peter left wills in Washington County TN but died in Knox County.[2]
