Mary Elizabeth Carter was born on October 15, 1868 in Appling, Georgia, United States, daughter of David Jefferson Carter (1834–1912) and Lucretia Henderson (1845–1926).[1]
Bettie died on March 1, 1941 in Georgia, aged 72. She was buried in Ten Mile Baptist Church Cemetery, Alma.[1]
