In fact, Roman Catholic parish registers cited on the Nos Origines Genealogy website, confirm that Alfred Laberge, 27, married Rose-Noemi Cecire (aka Cecyre), 19, in St. Joachim, Châteauguay, Quebec, on October 17, 1893.

Alfred Laberge died in St. Joachim, Châteauguay, Quebec on July 27, 1918 at 52 years old. His wife, Rose-Noemie (Cecire) Laberge survived his passing. She died in St-Joachim-de-Châteauguay, Quebec, Canada, at 65 years old on January 7, 1939.
