Born probably Berwick circa 1683; died before 14 June 1759 (CFAA); married before 1714 probably MARY NASON, born Kittery 25 Sep 1689, died after 1737, daughter of Benjamin and Martha (Canney) Nason (Anderson, "Mary3 Nason Wife of William4 Chadbourne of Berwick, Maine").
Brother Humphrey left lands in S Berwick to William's children. At the first town meeting when Berwick was set off from Kittery in 1713, William was chosen one of the three surveyors of land, and in 1714 and 1715 was a selectman (Clayton, York Co, 294). On 21 Nov 1714 he and his wife owned the covenant and their son William was baptized (First Church of Berwick, NEHGR 82:77).[1]
