Biography
Ann Chadwell was the daughter of George Chadwell and Nancy Johnson. She first married Samuel Vest on December 14, 1828 in Davidson County, Tennessee.[1] They had five known children:
William W. Vest, born 1829 Nancy C. Vest, born 1832 James M. Vest, born 1833 Martha Vest, born 1834 Mary Vest, born 1834
About 10 years after the death of Samuel, Ann married John Paul "Poney" Little, widower of Nancy Hogan Little on Feb. 22, 1847[2]. They had one child:
Ann Eliza Tayler "Annie" Little who was born June 1848 in Marshall County, TN. Annie married William W. Dooley in 1864 in Marshall Co., TN. Annie's 2nd marriage was to Constantine Perkins "Tobias" "Tobe" Holcomb.
Ann was born on Jul. 15, 1811 in Rockingham, Richmond County, NC and died on Oct. 1, 1875 in Maury County, TN.[3]
