Biography

Lucy Chaffe [sic.] was born May 8, 1742 in Woodstock, Windham County, Connecticut Colony, to parents Joel and Elisabeth.[1]

John Call and Lucy Chaffe [sic.] were married January 1, 1761 by pastor Stephen Williams.[2]

Lucy is first wife of John Call, a patriot for Massachusetts in the American Revolution. [3]

Lucy died December 16, 1797, in Colrain, Franklin County, Massachusetts, and is buried in Colrain West Branch Cemetery. Her gravestone is inscribed "In memory of Mrs. Lucy Call, the wife of Dea. John Call who died Dec. 16, 1797 in the 56 year of her age."[4][5]
