Marvin Chambliss was born 18 Dec 1911[1] in Mississippi to E. C. Chambless and Lela Jones[2][3] and died 20[4] March 1971.[1] While his tombstone has a birth of 1909, census consistently give his birth as 1910/1911[2][5] and as he was not born by the time of the 1910 census,[6] therefore the 1911 date must be accurate as shown on his Social Security record.[1]
He married wife Ruby about 1933[5] and had the following known children:
Marie Chambliss was born in Mississippi about 1934.[5]
Lee L. Chambliss was born in Mississippi about 1936.[5]
