Jonathan Chandler married Clarinda Kidder, the daughter of Ezra and Calista (Taft) Kidder, on 3 Feb 1830.[1]
Jonathan Chandler, M.D., died at Bennington, Vermont, on 28 Nov 1835.[1][3]
Research Note
The 1992 history of Alstead, New Hampshire, says that Jonathan Chandler, physician, the husband of Clarinda Kidder, died in 1882 and is buried at East Alstead.[4] That is incorrect; the 1875 Vilas genealogy says that he died at Bennington, Vermont, on 28 Nov 1835, which is confirmed by the death record cited above.
