Elizabeth Davis mentioned as daughter of Jacob Chaney.
“I have a Jonathan DAVIS born abt 1750 in VA who married Elizabeth CHANEY in Pittsylvania Co, VA on September 1, 1776 with a Baptist preacher, John Bailey, presiding. Jonathan went on to fight in the Revolutionary War if his widow's affidavit is correct, and Jonathan died in Roane County, TN on July 14, 1831.”[1]
