From: Seven Generations of the Descendants of Aquila and Thomas Chase; Aquila Chase and his descendants, pp. 150-151:

360 Jacob-5 Chase (Ebenezer-4, Jacob-3, John-2), born in Haverhill. 4 Aug. 1754; died about 1818. He married 21 Dec. 1777, Constance Saunders. They removed to New York state early but he was not head of a family there in 1790. He was probably the Revolutionary War soldier of Kingston, N.H. who enlisted at the age of 21 years in Capt. Henry Dearborn's Co. under command of Col. Benedict Arnold, 23 Apr. 1775. It seems as if he was overlooked in enumerating the census of 1790. He certainly was living with his family at that time.

Unfortunately, what isn't shown is Benjamin and Abigail's purported son, Johnson Chase. Perhaps descendants have family information which shows this relationship.
