He was noted as born August 1895 in Arkansas and single. Also included in the household are head Andrew Chastain, wife Varanda V Chastain, son William R Chastain, son James M Chastain and daughter Allie Chastain as seen in an image of the original census.[2]

Eugene Chastain wed Leila Hooper in Pulaski County as recorded of his October 25, 1914 Arkansas Marriage. His mother was noted as Mrs. A.J. Chastain and the mother of the bride Mrs. J.B. Hooper.[3]

Also included in the household are wife Lela Chastain, son Earnest Chastain, daughter Audry May Chastain, mother-in-law Genia Hooper and sister-in-law Myrtie Hooper.[4]

E P Chastain was enumerated as head of the household at Big Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas for the April 9, United States Census, 1930. He was noted as born 1896 in Arkansas and married. He was first married at the age of twenty-one. He was an owner of a home worth $600 and an operator (street car) as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Lelia Chastain, son Ernest Chastain, daughter Audry M Chastain, brother-in-law Delbert Ward, sister-in-law Florence Ward, nephew R G Ward and nephew James Ward.[5]
