DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Anna by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Anna:
Chateau-40 and Chateau-12 are not ready to be merged because: I'm not entirely certain that Martin Bernheisel's wife is this person. So far, I've found no source referenced and have only pulled the information from other trees and FindaGrave. I hesitate to merge to the Shatto family and later find that she has been an erroneous proposition.
atDNA of my family, descended from Adam Barnhisle, also has shown no indication of connection to the Shatto family though there are multiple matches to the Bernhisel family, previous to Adam's father Martin.
