Biography

May 1630 -- Rebecca Cheeseman was born at Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England, a daughter of William Cheeseman and Martha Dorset Cheeseman.[1]

Circa November 1607 or July 1611 -- James Grover [Sr.] was born probably at Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England.[2]

Circa 1639 -- James Grover [Sr.] and Rebecca Unknown married at Gravesend, Long Island, New Netherland (now Brooklyn, New York City, New York.[2]

They resided at Gravesend, Long Island, (now Brooklyn, New York City, New York) and later in Middletown, Monmouth County, New Jersey.[2]

James [Sr.] was a justice for the towns of Middletown and Shrewsbury and for Monmouth County, New Jersey. He was a lieutenant in the Middletown company of New Jersey Militia.[2]

December 1685 -- James Grover [Sr.] died at Middletown, Monmouth County, Province of East Jersey (now New Jersey).[2]

October 1686 -- Rebecca Cheeseman Grover died at Middletown, Monmouth County, New Jersey.[1]

Unknown-295910 and Chesseman-7 appear to represent the same person because: The non-matching dates are very uncertain so may not cause this to be an unmerged match.
