Biography

May 1630 -- Rebecca Cheeseman was born at Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England, a daughter of William Cheeseman and Martha Dorset Cheeseman.^[1]

Circa November 1607 or July 1611 -- James Grover [Sr.] was born probably at Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England.^[2]

Circa 1639 -- James Grover [Sr.] and Rebecca Unknown married at Gravesend, Long Island, New Netherland (now Brooklyn, New York City, New York.^[2]

Between 1641 and 1647 -- James Grover and Rebecca Cheeseman married at ?? He was born circa 1618.

James [Sr.] was a justice for the towns of Middletown and Shrewsbury and for Monmouth County, New Jersey. He was a lieutenant in the Middletown company of New Jersey Militia.^[2]

December 1685 -- James Grover [Sr.] died at Middletown, Monmouth County, Province of East Jersey (now New Jersey).^[2]

October 1686 -- Rebecca Cheeseman Grover died at Middletown, Monmouth County, New Jersey.^[1]
