Biography

Joseph Chiassion, son of Sebastien Chiasson and Marie-Josephe Arsenault, was born about 1737. He was age 15 on the census of 1752 (1737) and age 29 on the census of 1767 (1736). He married Catherine Blanchard.
Children:
Modeste Chiasson 1771-1821; married Joseph Pitre dit Cormier, 1765-1822
Augustin Chiasson 1773-1813; married Marie-Ange dite Deranges Doiron, 1778-

Text: Jacques Chiasson, fisherman and ploughman, native of l'Acadie, aged 69 years, he has been in the country two years. Married to Marie Arcenau, native of l'Acadie.
