Biography
Charles Chouinard was born and baptized on 14 Mar 1768 in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli parish, L'Islet. He was the son of Charles François Chouinard and his wife Agathe Desrosiers. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Jean Chouinard and Josephte Desrosiers. Charles married Josephte Migneault on 19 Nov 1793 in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli. He married as second wife Marie Josephe (Luret) Luret dite Rochefort on 27 Oct 1812 in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli.
