Thomas married Mary "Polly" Amburgy in 1830 in Letcher County, Kentucky.[1]
Mary "Polly" Amburgy was born 27 July 1807 in Wilkes County, North Carolina, to John Amburgy and Elizabeth Hamon. She died 31 March 1883 in Rowan County, Kentucky, and is buried in Christian Cemetery on Open Fork.[1]
Thomas and Polly had nine children between 1831 and 1849. All of the children were born in the portion of Perry County, Kentucky, that later became Letcher County, Kentucky.[1]
Thomas died 21 April 1884 in Rowan County, Kentucky. He is buried in Christian Cemetery on Open Fork.[1]
