Research note

Nothing more is known for certain of Anastasia. There was another Anastasia Cissell born around the same time in St. Mary's County, in 1745, the daughter of John Baptist Cissell and Henrietta Knott. She is not currently on WikiTree, nor is her father. John's father, Arthur Cissell, does have a WikiTree profile. One of the two Anastasias married Francis Wheatley in 1771. (Francis does not appear to have a WikiTree profile as of 2 October 2021.)
